We had to pick an all-American meal for this week’s Sunday Suppers. This meal is great for entertaining because so much of it can be prepared in advance.
Fellow state siders, have a great holiday. Happy Monday to the rest of you.

The barbecued chicken looks mouthwatering. π And though I’ve never made baked beans from scratch in my life, I have (at the age of 56) FINALLY made potato salad, so there’s hope yet for making them one day.
You made me so hungry and I agree that chicken looks out of this world. Have a safe and happy Labor Day. BAM
The weather is cooler…maybe a pot of beans this week!
Have a great Labor Day.
Everything looks fabulous – great combo of side dishes for that chicken.

I love the word parfait but don’t hear it often enough. Your menu looks like a labor of love and good eating. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
It’s surely is getting baked bean kinda weather! Nice round up. And we have labour day in Canada too, except we have a ‘u’ in it.
What time is dinner??? This all looks amazing.
That’s a good looking meal! I need some of that in my life π
Sounds like a perfect summer dinner!
Aren’t we lucky that we get a day off to enjoy all of this fine food?? GO U-S-A!
Fantastic.. I’m thinking I should make every one of these today for supper!! Have a great Monday!!
Parfaits are definitely All American regardless of what one calls them. What a wonderful group of celebration foods…baked beans, cole slaw and ribs all are so American for this holiday weekend. T
Just in time, indeed. Great roundup for Labor Day!
Fantastic ribs and beans π
Perfect for the end of summer celebration!! It all looks absolutely mouthwatering.
From beans that you actually baked to the parfaits, this is a perfect menu for anytime over the holiday weekend.
