Sunday Suppers: Just in Time for Labor Day

We had to pick an all-American meal for this week’s Sunday Suppers. This meal is great for entertaining because so much of it can be prepared in advance.

Fellow state siders, have a great holiday. Happy Monday to the rest of you.

BBQ Boston baked beans

Beans beans they ‘re good for the heart

Coleslaw (lighter on the mayo)

Creamy goodness

Barbecue Chicken

So good hot or cold

Brownie Parfaits with Chocolate Mint Sauce

Parfait sounds like an all-American word to me

This blog attempts to collect some of the things I try to create with food and booze. Sometimes I succeed and sometimes I fail. My hope is to entertain and maybe help people think a little harder about what they decide to eat and drink.

The barbecued chicken looks mouthwatering. πŸ™‚ And though I’ve never made baked beans from scratch in my life, I have (at the age of 56) FINALLY made potato salad, so there’s hope yet for making them one day.
