
It’s getting all artsy up in this joint
This is an easy way to use up a less than fantastic dry champagne without any juice in the house. Don’t go too sweet since you’re adding sugar!
Champagne Cocktail
- 1 sugar cube
- 3-5 dashes Angostura bitters
- Brut champagne
Place sugar cube in champagne glass. Soak in bitters. Fill glass with champagne and watch it bubble.

Love champagne cocktails. We’ve been trying ours with a wee dash of whisky barrel bitters on the cubes as well as the angostura (not good without the angostura!). Nice depth and takes a little edge off of the sweet.
