More sauce is always a good idea

This is a great cold sauce for many types of cabbage rolls or other stuffed vegetables. These particular rolls were stuffed with a mixture of venison, cracked wheat and sweet spices, but the sky is the limit for stuffing ingredients. To see how to form cabbage rolls go here.

Creamy Buttermilk Sauce

  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1-2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
  • Salt/pepper

Mix everything together, season with salt and pepper, and refrigerate for an hour before serving.

    Never seen a “white” sause with stuffed cabbage, Greg. If you’re going to go there, this would be the sauce to use. Sounds great.
