Noel, Noel … where the hell, did I set my drink down? Thanks, thanks, we’ll be here the rest of the year.

Chocolate-Hazelnut Martini

  • 1 1/2 ounces regular or vanilla vodka
  • 1/2 ounce creme de cacao
  • 1/2 ounce hazelnut liqueur
  • 2-3 dashes chocolate bitters

Throw some ice into a shaker. Sprinkle in some bitters. Pour in remaining liquors. Shake. Strain into a martini glass.

About Rufus' Food and Spirits Guide

This blog attempts to collect some of the things I try to create with food and booze. Sometimes I succeed and sometimes I fail. My hope is to entertain and maybe help people think a little harder about what they decide to eat and drink.

  1. It’s only Monday evening and I really would like to have this drink right now. I can imagine sitting down, putting my feet up…reading my book and simply sipping on this little jewel of a drink.

Can I come stay with you? I won’t take up much room. All I’ll need is a chair by your liquor cabinet — and the key.
