Pumpkin Latte Cocktail

Pumpkin lattes are great, but they lack booze. Let’s dispense with the caffeine instead.

Pumpkin Latte Cocktail

  • 2 ounces vanilla vodka
  • 3 tbsp pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 to 3/4 oz coffee liqueur
  • 1/2 tbsp maple syrup, plus extra for rim
  • about 1 tsp crushed amaretti or cookie of your choice

Brush the rim of a martini glass with maple syrup then dip in cookie crumbs. In a shaker with ice, combine puree, liquors and 1/2 tablespoon of maple syrup. Shake, then strain into prepared glass.

Here’s another way we like to drink our pumpkin come fall:

About Rufus' Food and Spirits Guide

This blog attempts to collect some of the things I try to create with food and booze. Sometimes I succeed and sometimes I fail. My hope is to entertain and maybe help people think a little harder about what they decide to eat and drink.
