Amaretto Sours

It does need a good quality amaretto

It does need a good quality amaretto

We always have a ton of lemon juice left over after making limoncello, so we like to make drinks that help use it up. Here’s a blast from the past, ahem, we mean a classic.

Amaretto Sours

  • 1 1/2 ounces Amaretto
  • 3/4 ounce lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp simple syrup

Mix ingredients together in a tumbler. Stir. Add ice and garnish with a cherry.

About Rufus' Food and Spirits Guide

This blog attempts to collect some of the things I try to create with food and booze. Sometimes I succeed and sometimes I fail. My hope is to entertain and maybe help people think a little harder about what they decide to eat and drink.
