If you haven’t noticed by now, we love grapefruit juice. If you’re not a fan, come back tomorrow. OK, really any other citrus juice will do in this simple cocktail.

Grapefruit Spritzer

  • 1 ounce vodka
  • 1 ounce triple sec
  • 1/2 ounce grapefruit juice
  • tonic water

Pour liquors and juice into a tall glass with five or six ice cubes. Top with tonic water.

About Rufus' Food and Spirits Guide

This blog attempts to collect some of the things I try to create with food and booze. Sometimes I succeed and sometimes I fail. My hope is to entertain and maybe help people think a little harder about what they decide to eat and drink.

This sounds absolutely lovely and refreshing. I adore grapefruit juice too, but recently I had to cut it out because I was getting a lot of heart burn. Perhaps in a week or so, I’ll revisit it with this beautiful cocktail. Cheers.

This sounds like a great drink but, I must say, that coaster is the best I’ve seen in months.

That is a seriously classy glass. 😀

  9. Anything with grapefruit and a splash of alcohol over ice is just the most perfect of all Spring Drinks. Thanks for this lovely.
