We saw this drink in one of our battered well-used cocktail books. It normally calls for dry vermouth but since we had an abundance of Lillet a change up was in order.
The Red Kiss
- 1 ounce Lillet
- 1/2 ounce cherry brandy
- 1/2 ounce gin
Mix everything in a shaker filled with ice, pour into a martini glass and garnish with a cocktail cherry.
Sounds delicious and I love the name!
I would love to see a pic of your liquor cabinet one of these days. You guys have the most interesting stuff on-hand. This looks darn tasty! π
Yes!! Making it soon. Great combination.
Coolest glass Ev-errrr! And such a lovely cocktail! Cheers.
This sounds rather wonderful, and rather Film Noir. I shall have to buy a trilby. Or a glamorous red dress, I suppose.
I’ll take two!
Pucker up, buttercup. Looks great!
Who you calling buttercup? OK, as you wish.
Mmm!
This drink sounds awesome. It’s 5 o’clock somewhere, right? Well, at least it’s almost Friday!
What a gorgeous drink for Valentine’s Day!
Sounds delicious…what cherry brandy did you use?
One we got in the Finger Lakes at Finger Lakes Distilling.
Love the name! Looks delish π
Ooooh. I have the Lillet and the gin, now I just need to find some good cherry brandy! Really looks perfect for Valentine’s Day.
Perfect for Valentine’s Day – thanks for sharing!
