Gin and Juice

Snoop wishes he sang about this

Pretty in pink

We couldn’t help getting Snoop in our head when we created this one even though we’re pretty sure it’s not what he had in mind.

Laid back. With my mind on my money and my money on my mind.

Gin and Juice

  • 3 cups freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 lime, juice and zest
  • 1/2 tbsp orange flower water
  • 1 tbsp elderflower liqueur
  • 8 ounces gin
  • tonic water

Strain juices to remove pulp. Pour in a large pitcher and add orange flower water, liqueur and gin. In a small sauce pan, combine water and honey. Heat until just combined. Stir into pitcher. Add ice and tonic water to taste.

About Rufus' Food and Spirits Guide

This blog attempts to collect some of the things I try to create with food and booze. Sometimes I succeed and sometimes I fail. My hope is to entertain and maybe help people think a little harder about what they decide to eat and drink.

Nice to see something familiar here, we call it Gin Pomelo in the Philippines very common to those who save money as gin is reality inexpensive there. During my time is like. $0.25 per 330 mls.

I’ll leave the gin to you guys. I’m sure you’ll appreciate one less cocktail to pour. Be aware, though, that I’m grabbing the empty pitcher as I head out the door. Really nice.
