Twelve Days of Christmas: Jack Frost Punch

Ain’t that a kick in the head?

This is a rich one. The following recipe serves two to three. But your blender A) Can probably hold more B) Can be used multiple times in one night and C) Called and said it really likes ice cream.

Jack Frost Punch

  • 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream
  • 3 ounces Jack Daniel’s whiskey
  • 1/4 cup egg nog
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp  cinnamon
  • ice

Blend ice cream, egg nog, whiskey, syrup and cinnamon in a blender until smooth. Throw in two handfuls of ice and blend to incorporate. Divide between two to three mugs and garnish with cinnamon sugar to serve.

About Rufus' Food and Spirits Guide

This blog attempts to collect some of the things I try to create with food and booze. Sometimes I succeed and sometimes I fail. My hope is to entertain and maybe help people think a little harder about what they decide to eat and drink.
