Chicken Marinade #3023

The skin is so tasty

This is a really simple marinade. I deboned the chicken breasts to shorten the cooking time but left on the skin for an added treat. Any type of chicken will work for this. I strained the juice from a can of tomatoes, but regular juice will work as well.

Spicy Chicken Marinade

  • 2 pickled jalapenos
  • 2 cups tomato juice
  • 1/2 bunch cilantro
  • 1 lime
  • 3 cloves garlic

In a blender process everything together. Pour over chicken pieces and marinate in refrigerator at least 4 hours turning every hour. Grill over moderate heat until done.

  14. It is always a good practice to marinade all meat especially chicken. BBQ is the healthy way to eat meat.

  26. What a great marinade! Love the flavors here and I so love jalapenos! My garden seems to be struggling in the heat. I think I planted too late, so I am not sure if I will get peppers. 1 jalapeno plant has grown to a respectable height, but the others are still little.
