Because espresso may keep you up…
Coffee and cream martini
- 1 part vodka
- 1 part Baileys Irish Cream
- 1/2 part Creme de Cacao
- 1/2 part coffee liquor such as Kamora or Kahlua
- splash cream
Pour all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into one or multiple martini glasses depending on how many you’re serving.
Ooh . . . yes, please!
These would almost be too smooth — but oh, so very delicious!
Is that anything like the Big Lebowski?
Coffee and cream sound rich and smooth.
That’s me – I love Baileys!
That sounds like the perfect dessert. Make mine a double! 🙂
Does Irish Cream ever go bad?
I think you should drink it in six months or so. It may even say on the bottle.
I love coffee flavors in a cocktail, thanks!
It’s probably just because it’s almost midnight (or because I’m reading blogs late at night and have consequently gotten very hungry), but I thought your coasters were halved chili chocolate bars…for a good 5 seconds or so. HAHAAHAHAH. I was like, “how cute, it’s served on chocolate bars…oh wait…I think that’s marble…” LOL.
Marble coasters get stuck to the bottom of things, so they’re pretty, but go unused. Might as well do something with them!
Looks pretty darn yummy!
Sounds fantastic! Might have to try it this weekend.
Coffee will keep you up, this will help you sleep !
WOW! Yes please, I would like to taste this one!
perfect!
I fancy myself a martini girl if I drank lol. But I will definitely put this recipe to good use for the holidays.. someone will enjoy this :).
Gorgeous – would skip dessert and just go for this!
I have just had only a cup of coffee today (it’s 10 am here). I should have substituted it with your cocktail. It would have woken me up much quicker 😉
Seriously, it looks like an excellent dessert substitute.
Oh my…
Like Joanne above, I thought your coasters were chocolate….Very nice!
You may not believe me, but I actually had something very similar for or instead of dessert the other night! Amazing – love it!
I suppose these are not for breakfast, correct? 😉
My beloved husband would really like this drink, I might make it for him this weekend….
Good one for Thanksgiving evening and Christmas…and now. Thank you.
I would literally destroy one of these…
Yep, I’d be out like a light, but deliciously so. Man, that sounds good!
Ooo… If I tell you it’s my birthday tomorrow will you pour one down the interwebs for me? I’ll hold a glass ready at this end!
Dessert time for me!! Love, love, love it!!
This looks delicious – and I could use the shot of espresso this morning!
Mmm sounds like a good nightcap to me 🙂
As always, just lovely and unusually i can make this tonight! I usually have a kahlua and coffee, so this is an elegant step up! thank you c
❤ yummmmmmmmmm!!
I’ll have two please 🙂
Great looking drink Greg, though you forgot the last step (Drink!) 😀
I saw how short that was and thought of you!
Yum!
I’ve never had a martini – this looks like a good choice for starters!
Or you could start with a cosmo, since those have juice in them. https://rufusguide.wordpress.com/2011/05/12/crimson-cosmo/
Well if that’s not the perfect drink, I’m not too sure what is. Great use of those marble coasters. Only a rooster would make the set up even better though. Haaaha, I kid.
Oh, could I use one of those right about now!
Did you say Martini? I’m ALL OVER THAT! Thanks.
I have just right now tried this recipe, and the result is in a glass here by my desk. Well, okay, about half the result is here. The other half is already gone! It is just the thing for a post-work, pre-dinner unwinding session. Thank you for the recipe! Hmmm…if one is good, I wonder if two before dinner makes it decadent?
Just don’t have a light dinner!
This sounds delicious, I will give it a try this weekend! And great picture by the way, those coasters look like slabs of chocolate… or is it just me hehe 😛
Mmm… now that’s what I call a ‘special’ coffee… the kind of thing I’d enjoy Christmas Eve…
I can see it already…I’m up, I’m down, I’m up, I’m down. This drink might drive me crazy!
You amaze me!
I’ll take one – or maybe three! Sounds delicious! I also LOVE this picture with the awesome tiles laid out – nice.
Yes, coffee does keep me up at night! I could use one of these right now! Greg, my husband wants to know where you shot the photo in your header. Seems like I read it once but don’t recall where it was!?!
I shot it at a pub in Scotland, wish I’d remembered the name of the town. It’s one imaged flipped, back to back. Katherine and I went to Scotland and Ireland last year.
Yum. I’ll take one of those for dessert.
I would probably try one of yours but I am not a big fan of martinis. I think that is because someone made me one once and I nearly choked to death it on because it was so strong! Yours sure do look good.
It sounds delicious and the picture, I love the picture! ….RaeDi
Nice post Greg. This will be my christmas drink.
