Like I said earlier, pizza is all about the dough. Of course here are a few ideas for what to top it with. Above is pesto, fresh tomato, basil and mozzarella.

Mmm. I will have Pizza #1 for the starter! Those ripe summer tomatoes will be missed come January.
You are so right about the crust. Hope you have/had a safe trip home.
I love pizza! but why the dough always undercooked when the topping has already cook well even born. (400 Fahrenheit degree) π¦
Cook the dough a bit before adding the topping. Also, the pizza stone helps make it crisp.
Thanks for you quick reply! thiss really helpful! will thy it next time:)
IΒ΄ll take a slice of each to go please. Oh, and a couple of beers. Thanks π
I guess with pizza its hard to go wrong specially if you master the dough. Love the flavours you prensented
Totally agree on the crust – a good (or bad) crust can totally make or break the pizza. I still didn’t get round to using my pizza stone yet. Now that I have a functioning oven once more there’s no reason not to! Roll on the pizzas I say π Beautiful pizzas Greg!
This will be great for Friday – Sunday night home.
Yum! These look great! I haven’t made pizza in forever- thanks for the inspiration π
You make it hard to ever want to eat store bought pizza again!
Making Storm Pizzas for dinner tonight…yours look yummy!
Drive safe, and keep WELL west of this monster…
I’ll take a slice of that goat cheese, rosemary and carmelized onion please.
love the look of that caramelized onion pizza!
Very appealing pizzas! The crust looks delicious!
Holy cow those look good!
I could eat pizza every day, love it. It is the one thing I miss most since we don’t eat bread like we used to. When we do make the exception, these are exactly the kind of pizza we go for–yum!
I would love the 3rd pizza please!! Anchovies on mine all day long π
Glad someone else likes anchovies!
I’m digging lazy Sunday! Good stuff. Too bad I filled up on pizza already this weekend. Then again, I never really fill up on pizza. Hope you’re enjoying your trip!
This looks fantastic! Yum!
Yes, please!!!! They look scrumptious!
I love a well made pizza dough. But I think a pizza is all about the sauce you use and the toppings as well. everything must go hand in hand. You do make a mean dough.. I would eat that bread lol.
A perfect sunday late lunch, i am with the pesto and mozz of course! YUM. I have all of that in my fridge and a fresh batch of pesto in the blender, so now i am off to look at your dough recipe! Thank you for sorting out my sunday afternoon! c
You call it a lazy Sunday? Pizza is the last dish I would make if I feel lazy π Great toppings ideas! Onion, rosemary and goat cheese sounds particularly appealing! I am also a big fan of anchovies on my pizza!
Pizza is my favorite food ever! I love the onion, rosemary and goat cheese one, yummy!!
Some nice looking topping combos!
Ooo… I’ll have a leftover toppings free for all thanks! These look so mouth watering, love the use of goats cheese.
I was going to have brisket tonight for dinner and now I feel the need to eat pizza…damn you! What…perhaps brisket on the pizza. π
Your toppings look fantastic, I would never be able to choose (ok, if I *had* to pick one, I would go with Caramelized onion, rosemary and goat cheese). Delish!
That was Katherine’s favorite.
Lazy Sunday pizza party! Great idea!
These look absolutely divine! Can I have one now? Please?
Wow, you do a much better job with pizza than I do! At my house I just pick up frozen plain cheese pizzas and add my toppings of choice. It’s fast, but I bet your crust is much tastier.
I’ve made pizza from scratch for years on cheap thin black baking sheets and they’ve always been terrific. I don’t know what I’d get if I actually used a pizza stone. Maybe for my 60th birthday … I’ll invest in one. π
I’ve never tried goat cheese but have heard of people using it for ages. What makes it so special?
I like it because it’s creamy and has a nice tangy taste. It’s nice and versatile.
I’m really tempted to do a batch of caramelized onions and top with rosemary and goat cheese as in your picture. Do you add the goat cheese after baking or before as it doesn’t seem to have browned/melted much?
We add cheese to the pizza right at the end, just give it enough time to melt.
I like your idea of a lazy Sunday!
We don’t have pizza often but thoroughly enjoy it when we do – great topping choices.
Have a happy week.
π Mandy
Could I have one for me too, please π Thank you dear Rufus, made me hungry now… with my love, nia
I am coming to your house next Sunday! These look amazing.
Carmelized onion, rosemary and goat cheese is my pick!! I could eat pizza any day! I think it’s the perfect meal, thin crust is my favorite.
Ohhh I like this idea of a lazy sunday involving pizzas and lots of melted cheese. I also thought having a ritual brunch (complete with mimosas) as the way to go… but I might be wrong after seeing these little doughy pies of tastiness.
Do both, skip lunch and have a nice red or white with the pizza.
I wondered because it looked like there was rosemary sprinkled on top of the goat cheese as a garnish and I didn’t know if you had also added some rosemary underneath the caramelized onions along with the romano cheese.
Hmm, now that you mention it and knowing me I probably did both, sprinkled the top and bottom. Fresh rosemary is just great!
Love love love pizza. Sounds awesome!
And lazy Sunday? Is there any other kind of Sunday?
Thanks for the tip of cooking the dough a little before toppings, why didn’t I think of that….RaeDi
All those pizzas look great!
I love pizzas…It is all about the dough…Since I am not a big fan of cheese, for me it as to be gorgeous bases with delicious sauce and toppings..yours look so appetising…It’s breakfast time here and I could do with a pizza right now π
-Shilpa
I love pizzas, too, and the more cheese the better. This looks wonderful and I could eat it right this minute.
Pizza Pizza!!!! Mi piace molto!!!! I love the toppings!!! Very very creative!!!
mmmmm so many options..can’t wait to try them out
HAHAHA I love the leftover topping free for all. That rosemary goat cheese pizza…oh my gosh…
By the way, if you have a Whole Foods by you, you need to go taste the Fleur Verte goat cheese. It is the best goat cheese, no, the best cheese PERIOD!!!
Oh thanks, we do have a Whole Foods.
Just waiting on a homemade pizza to cool right now! Good write up- love the topping ideas and variety here.
My fiance loves simple but well made pizzas. I can’t wait to try these out. Thanks!
