Sunday Suppers: Keep the Grill Fired Up

Nothing says Sunday like a big barbecue and some tasty beverages in the afternoon.

First some steak

That is a good looking piece of meat

Now for chicken

The skin is so tasty

A little bit of the ocean

If only walking the plank could mean this

Don’t forget the pig

Really, those babies are almost all pink, talk about permeation

Maybe if there is room after all the meat enjoy a veggie

That corn is a yellow belly

And dessert

This tastes much better than sweet vermouth

  1. This really looks good, yum! But please, do come back to me with an answer. You put your fish on a wooden board – just for deco or did you grill this fish on your bar-b-q like my snapper on mango wood (see my last Kovalam post) and if yes, what wood did YOU use. Thanks and have a restful week-end. Carina

    Everything looks so very delicious.

I wish it was warm enough to barbecue here but it seems like every weekend it either rains or it’s so cold you have to bundle up to go out to the bbq. Maybe tomorrow ..l fingers crossed.

  3. The planked salmon looks delicious. I wonder where our planks are…..

  4. It’s 42 and raining here this morning…no grill for us! Maybe tomorrow….
    Enjoy your Holiday Weekend!

  5. How great! Just yesterday I was thinking about lighting up the BBQ and look for some good recipes…yours came at the bet of times. Thanks a lot!! :)

A lovely round up from the Barbie, thank you. Today, we’ll likely cook something from the oven because it’s so cold, we’ve even turned the heat back on!

  7. Kristy says:

Looks like some great stuff! Would you believe Mike grilled in the rain today?! So proud. Next step…keeping that thing out into the late fall. :)

  8. That is a beautiful piece of meat in the opening shot…and everything else looks great, too. We’ve been firing up the grill here lately, too. So nice to be able to do that now!

  9. Tammy says:

Wow, you went all out. Love that you finished with a grilled peach.

  10. Those grilled peaches look unbelievable.
