Sunday Suppers: Now with Caffeine

We’re meat and potatoes kind of people. But we try not to neglect other vegetables when making red meat, especially if it’s a meal like last Valentine’s Day and we’d already had a starch. Here’s what we served that night. We think we skipped dessert in favor of a nightcap, so we’ll throw one of those in too.

Shrimp with Redeye Gravy over Cheesy Grits

It’s like a fashion model on the runway

Coffee and Peppercorn Crusted Steaks

Just a small pat of butter there

Lemony Asparagus

The lemon is really good after roasting

The Batiste

Nothing can replace Grand Marnier, those sneaky bastards

About Rufus' Food and Spirits Guide

This blog attempts to collect some of the things I try to create with food and booze. Sometimes I succeed and sometimes I fail. My hope is to entertain and maybe help people think a little harder about what they decide to eat and drink.
